When the original Past Masters was released it was very hard for me to get used to the mono version of From Me To You with all the harmonica. After 21 years the stereo version has been released on cd and it sounds very foreign to me.

I just played both versions back to back. The mono version from the Red Album first, and then the stereo version from the new Past Masters. You are right about the stereo version having less harmonica. What caught me is the amount of echo the song has in both versions.
