Full Version: RINGO PIRATED
The Beatles > The Beatles > Ringo Starr
viper
Ringo's new album, CHOOSE LOVE is apparently everywhere on the internet. Someone got a hold of an unreleased advance copy and leaked it out. In fact, pirated cd copies are now being sold before the official copies are released.

It was supposed to be released on April 22nd, but the released date had been pushed back to June. It seems they may have to release it before June to combat the damage to sales by the illegal copies floating around.

Thats really the sh#t's. Ringo doesn't have a huge audience in the first place. I know this is going to hurt sales, Poor guy and assho5e bootleggers
Davido
Gives him some street credibility and creates a buzz.
Might help with ticket sales. How many discs does he
actually sell anymore anyway? may not be
a bad thing when we think outside the
box..........................

You know Davido I really don't think having your disc pirated before the original release is going to add any crediblity to Ringo. Ringo has his world which is a yearly tour always well liked and executed by both fans and musicians. The disc's he sells usually pertains to that market and the devout Beatle fans that buy any thing the fabs did or as single artists does. It's odd as most fans probably in the days when the other threetles were here would do that to see what songs and added production and songwriting the other three added. But now it just stinks as Ringo has his career and its not a mega star but a likable star effort. Boo, on the creeps who did this to him. I buy boots of the past but I certainly won't touch this one and give money to some creeps that had the trust of either Ringo or his record distributer
