I recently saw Alice Cooper in Cincinnatti a few weeks ago...woof...
I was blown away...(of course) and watched Rock&Roll history...After two and a half hours of first Cheap Trick rocking out to thier old hits, and then my DARK DESIRE Alice Cooper tantalizing me with such oldies as "The Ballad of Dwight Frey" and "Go to Hell", " Billion Dollar Babies", "Be My Lover" and so much more I can't think of just now....I waited breathlessly for his encore, (Poison, Sunset Babies from the new album, Under my Wheels) I got up to leave...My husband said, "Wait..." the theatre was still dark, and no one heard the instruments being picked up again till the stagelights came on...
WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT!!!!
Alice Cooper...Ryan Roxie...Chuck Taylor...Robin Zander....
(Robin Zander, you ask?? YES, say I!!)
Cheap Trick and Alice Cooper played a SECOND encore, TOGETHERand they played Cold Turkey, and The Who's My Generation....I had tears falling freely from these cold, cadaver eyes. I was blown away...Beatlemaniacs, I had the time of my life...It was almost as good as seeing Ringo with Maggie...(ALMOST...)
But I had to share...It was phenomenal!!!
Love, your
Cold Ethyl
